For more than a century, We at El Olvido and Buena Vista Farms, where one of the first coffee trees were planted in El Salvador, have prided ourselves in harvesting only the best coffees available from Shade Grown 100% Bourbon variety. After allowing plenty of time for the berry to develop complexity and flavor, we begin by picking only the utmost ripened cherries from the tree.
El Olvido Estate Coffee achieves growing coffee in harmony with nature. We believe that a flavorful, full-bodied cup begins in the field. We take advantage of our leguminous shade, which naturally and organically provide nitrogen to our coffee trees.

EL OLVIDO FARM

It's been since 1887 that our ancestors planted, worked, and harvested coffee in what we now know as El Olvido Estate Farm. This farm is located in the highest valleys of the San Salvador Volcano at an altitude of 1,600 meters (5,249 feet) above sea level and an area of 45 hectares (112 acres). El Olvido Estate Farm yields only the best Strictly High Grown (SHG) Shade Grown Bourbon Gourmet Coffee with an annual production of 91,000 kg (200,000 lbs), which becomes approximately 4.5 lots or containers.

BUENA VISTA FARM

Buena Vista Farm is located on the skirts of the San Salvador Volcano at an altitude of 1,250 meters (4,101 feet) above sea level and an area of 117 hectares (293 acres). Since 2001, Buena Vista Farm became our Certified Organic Strictly High Grown (SHG) 100% Shade Grown Bourbon farm. Throughout the years we have prided ourselves in strictly following the norms and parameters of our organic certifiers, and due to this hard work we have achieved the privilege of having our organic farm certified in Japan, European Union, and the United States.
Buena Vista Farm yields only the finest SHG Shade Grown Certified Organic and has an annual production of 104,545 kg (230,000 lbs), which becomes approximately 5 lots or containers.
